SEA TO SEA

S C O U T I N G
The journey will start with a grand opening ceremony at Achziv Beach (The Mediterranean Sea) and end on the last day on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Each day the scouts will hike routes in the Upper Galilee. This trip is in a "Rovers Format" (spending every night in a different parking space, according to the direction of walking).
The theme of the trip is the love of nature and cooperation while getting to know the Land of Israel by walking its paths.
ABOUT THE HIKE
The starting point will be in Tel-Aviv and a bus will take your group to the north of Israel (about 2-3 hours drive) to the beginning of the trip and the meeting with the hosting scout troop.
SECURITY AND MEDICAL CARE
The trip is approved by the Israeli police, the Nature Protection Society, Israeli Defense Force, Education Minister and the Scout movement. The trip will be accompanied by qualified paramedics and hired security guards.
The "Sea to Sea" trip is an event for Scouts aged between 14 and 18.
Groups that register 5 or more participants must also be accompanied by at least one patrol leader (over 18).
All participants should be active members of their respective Scout organizations and have previous experience in overnight hikes.
Due to the large numbers of scouts traveling the country during the same week, we have 14 different "Sea to Sea" trips in 2023.
Each trip will be four days and all of them will be held between March 29th to April 5th.
You will be able choose the best dates for you and we will find a host group for you.
We recommend planning a longer trip in Israel and staying longer before or after the trip!
We are combining hikes and tourism into one amazing journey in our beautiful country.
